More time with E - lucky boys!

When E isn't here taking care of us, she is an occupational therapist at a hospital working with tiny babies. How lucky are we that we get fun times with a skilled professional? Too good to be true? I don't think so - she's coming back in November to see us again. Yipee!

Off to school

I love smiley faces and that is what I got on the way out the door this morning. Happy boys! So happy they even agreed to pose for pictures. What a great way to start off the day. Makes me smile too!

Aunt E

My brother's wife, other wise known as Aunt E is in town. We love our E! She has come to rescue us and is doing a wonderful job. The boys have had The Best Time! Here is just a sample of her sweetness. She doesn't mind messes - which is good. She is super fun and she loves loves loves her nephews. We love her, too!

(E is short for Extraordinarily Enthusiastic Energizer Elizabeth.)

Gratitude

This group of families have made an immeasurable imprint on my heart. These people "get me". They "get" my kids. We are so beyond blessed to have these amazing people in our lives. I am grateful.

Climbing high

It was a beautiful day for outdoor play!

Liam wanted to hang from all the bars today. It was a lot of fun. His allergies have gotten him down this week but he didn't let that stop him today.

Reach for the sky!

Ben mastered the monkey bars for the first time today. He was super proud.

And, we had dinner outside. Doesn't get much better than that.

Kingdom (part 2)

Taking a closer look at the pets in Ben's kingdom, you will find that several of them are perched on "nests". Nest building has become a popular activity at our house. I can usually find a nest or two in Ben's bed and Liam has daily requests for Ben to make nests out of his blankets. It's pretty cute when he asks, "B, me nest too. Peease."

Shortly after Ben posed as the king on his throne - he made this face - which I love love love!

And, tonight when I went into to his room for our nightly rituals - this was in his bed. I had to get the camera when he told me it was the actual castle for his kingdom. And, he went to bed singing, "I"m the king of the castle. I'm the king of the castle."
