Too Long

Way, way too long since I have posted. If you haven't given up on us - your in for a treat. We had pictures taken of the boys last week. Click here to check out a sneak peek of the photos. The boys have grown SO much.

We are having a great summer so far. Swimming, bike riding and playing trains non-stop. Can't wait to see our Vietnam friends at Vietnam Family Weekend.
Enjoy the photos.

Puddles, sticks and a fence

That's all it took to entertain the boys this afternoon. Oh, plus a little sunshine. It was actually a little cool out so we had to change after the puddle jumping got old. They went right back out to tromp around in the backyard and "say hi" to our neighbor through the fence. No telling how much longer that fence will make it but Ben sure loves peeking through to see if Norma is working in her yard. He sends her gifts through the slats - things like grass and leaves. No rain forecasted for tonight - maybe those puddles will dry up. One thing is for sure, we will find something equally exciting to do tomorrow. Can't wait.

ps. That makes three, JJM. Top that.

Guess who came to play?

Yep, that's Beckett. The boys had a great time playing in the yard. Grammy drove by and dropped off a huge bottle of bubble fun and a new bubble wand. Then Jessica pulls an amazing bubble "blowing" machine out of her trunk and we were set. Great weather, great bubbles and great friends. Thanks for coming to play!

Bubble Fun

We are good. The boys are playing together more and more which is wonderful. We switched their rooms around this past weekend and Ben is now sleeping in a queen bed (he was in a twin). He looks so little in that big bed. He was a little concerned at first because his "monkey sheets" weren't going to fit the big bed. He got used to it pretty quick when he saw that ALL his animals could sleep with him. Liam is sleeping through the night - usually about 11 hours. That is amazing. He appears to be dropping his morning nap. He is still trying to adjust but it sure makes the days easier to plan and more fun for everyone. We are looking forward to more trips to the zoo and outdoor fun this spring.
The boys love playing with bubbles. Here are their sweet smiling faces.

Watch me grow

2008 - What a great year!

January - One year ago today, on the 29th of January our lives were forever changed - we saw the first photos of our five week old little boy living in southern Vietnam. We were overjoyed to introduce our son, Liam Hai O'Connor. What a Happy New Year!

April - We received these two photos in early April. What a gift after waiting two months for an update. Liam grew a lot in those two months. He is precious and we are so grateful to see his smile.

May - The last two photos we received before leaving for Liam. He is just precious and we can't wait to hold him.

June - The day we met our sweet little Liam - June 18th! We are so grateful to finally see him - face to face.

July - Liam's first month home in Arkansas as an O'Connor.

August - Sweet baby Liam is growing and now has two teeth.

September - Liam learns to crawl Labor Day weekend. Mobility really suits our little guy - he is very independent.

October - Liam loved playing in the pumpkin patch. The weather was great in October and we got to play outside a lot.

November - Thanksgiving Day - We are thankful for Liam! He started walking on Nov 12th (10 1/2 months) and hasn't slowed down.

December - Christmas Day - Liam gets a Cozy Coupe from Santa. He is a happy boy in his Vietnamese Christmas suit which his big brother Ben wore on his 1st Christmas home.

December 26th - Liam's 1st Birthday - Happy Birthday Baby Boy. What a year we have had watching Liam grow. We love our Liam and are so grateful he is ours!
