Poppy

The past week has been extremely difficult for our family. Though the boys continue on in little boy bliss, the adults are struggling with some of life's biggest challenges.

We said goodbye to my sister and her children, as they left to begin their new life in Saudi Arabia.

We celebrated the life of Rob's grandfather at his memorial service on Saturday.

We learned that my precious father, the boys Poppy, is very ill. We have created a Caring Bridge website in order to communicate with friends and family the on going situation with my dad. You are welcome to follow along here. Prayers are greatly appreciated.

Oh Tricia...I am so sorry. I will surely remember him in my prayers. Life is so fragile. He looks like a very happy man with those two little boys!!! What joy!

Sweet friend, you have been through so much in such a short period of time. I am amazed at your poise, positive attitude and your ability to keep things together for your precious boys.

I am so glad you shared the caring bridge website. Prayers bring miracles...I firmly believe that. The more prayers, the better! Such a sweet picture of your boys with their Poppy!

What a testament to your awesome parenting skills that your kiddos are still in "little boy bliss!" It's almost too much to wrap your brain around all at once. Don't ever forget that we are praying for your whole family, especially your Dad. I worked on an oncology unit yesterday and I thought about your Dad so much that he felt like one of my patients.

Holding you up in prayer, Tricia.

Tricia,
I am thinking about you and your family and sending prayers your way. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. I'm glad you have your boys to hang on to. Random kid hugs seem to help, at least a little bit.
