The day after

For most people, the day after Christmas is a total let down. Sure there are lots of new toys, gadgets and left overs but the magic of Christmas has passed for another year. The race is on to get the decorations cleaned up and packed away before New Year's Eve. At least, that's how it used to be on the day after Christmas.

Now we spend December 26th celebrating another baby boys birthday. This year, Liam turned two and even though he doesn't understand birthdays yet, he knew this party was all about him. The day after Christmas is no longer just another day in the long wait for Santa to come again. And, Liam will always wake up on his birthday feeling like all is not over.

His big brother appreciates the fact that all is not over.
